A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter in Cannon Falls, MN, supporting elementary school students in an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with another interpreter to alternate support for two students (1st and 2nd grade) during school hours. Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation between students, staff, and peers. Assist students in accessing classroom communication and instructional content. Qualifications:
EIPA score of 4.0 or higher, or RID/NAD certification is required. Minimum of 2 years of sign language interpreting experience preferred. Strong understanding of educational environments and effective communication strategies. Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and support personnel. Position Details:
Location: Cannon Falls, MN (serving nearby areas) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM Contract dates: Immediate start through May 28, with potential for continuation into the next school year. Caseload: Supporting 2 students in elementary school. Benefits and Perks:
