SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
As a Centralized Loan Processor this employee will work with other members of the loan processor group to prepare commercial real estate loans and HELOC's for multiple lenders at various branches.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This position performs the following duties, including but not limited to: Monitors BankManager for loan requests. Reviews loan requests for required documentation. Enters loan requests into OnBoard to prepare loan documents in accordance with bank policies and ensures compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program. Communicates with lender and loan assistants as necessary. Requests appraisals from appraisal department. Orders flood certificates, title opinions, title insurance, and trust deeds/mortgages as needed. Assembles loan documents in a timely manner for multiple lenders. Ensures that loan documents have proper signatures, dates, legal descriptions, and other relevant data. Exports loans from OnBoard to Silverlake. Archives documents to Synergy. Prepares Cross Application. Promotes the bank's products and services whenever possible; participates in bank-sponsored events and volunteer opportunities when they arise. May assist non real estate processors as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent. Six months to one year experience in a financial institution preferred. Knowledge of current loan compliance regulations and familiarity with current loan software preferred. Excellent organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining excellent attention to detail. Good oral and written communication. Above average interpersonal skills including ability to work with multiple lenders in various offices. Ability to read, comprehend and follow training materials, bank communications and related loan manuals. Must be able to work extended hours, if needed. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other common PC-based software.
