High school graduate Level 1 PGA Associate preferred Knowledge and understanding of typical golf course procedures. Reliable and predictable attendance. Present a positive, professional image, clean and neat appearance. Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Essential Responsibilities
Golf Operations
Full knowledge of all opening and closing procedures of the golf shop Assist in managing the daily tee sheet. Stay in constant communication with outside operations and starter Assist membership in booking tee times through Northstar Stay updated and current on all upcoming events scheduled throughout the year Manage the first tee when starting. Record the starting times, transportation choices, and cart numbers for all groups. Make groups aware of the standard of play policy. Assist in golf course loops to ensure members and guests are enjoying their golf experience. Greet all groups on golf course and keep detailed documentation of pace of play issues. Inform the Head Golf Professional of all issues that negatively impacted play Assist in the management of golf shop supplies Take precise and thorough phone messages. Answers phone to proper standards. Work with the Retail Manager in maintaining a neat and organized floor area. Assist in special ordering and shipment receiving daily Assist with monthly inventory of all merchandise Fold and hang apparel and refresh all displays throughout the day Tournament Operations
Assist and become knowledgeable in all aspects of set-up operations including golf genius, scoreboards, cart signs, proximities, staging area set-up. Assist in managing tournaments and events. Club Repair
Maintain and inventory all stock items necessary for in-house club repair work including grips, tape, and fluids. Document and keep accurate records of all in house and out of house club repair work. Update all charges and credits for all club repair work. Keep club repair area neat, clean and organized at all times. Teaching Operations
Assist Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf with group and individual golf instruction Restrict lesson time to times not scheduled for golf shop duty. Benefits
