Overview
The SALT Senior supports state and local tax engagements through hands-on execution of sales and use tax compliance, research, and consulting work. This role works closely with managers and clients while independently managing assigned workstreams. Responsibilities
Prepare and review sales and use tax returns and workpapers Support sales and use tax audits and audit defense Perform nexus studies, taxability reviews, and technical research Research and interpret state and local tax laws and guidance Draft technical memoranda and client deliverables Manage assigned tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA or progress toward CPA preferred 3–5+ years of SALT experience, primarily sales and use tax Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
