Versatile Collections and Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Collections and Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a background in collections, accounts receivable, and accounting, with a sharp mind and the ability to adapt to multiple projects. This role offers an opportunity to grow and develop within the company.
Responsibilities
+ Perform credit analysis to assess client creditworthiness.
+ Manage collections and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable.
+ Handle credit and collections tasks efficiently.
+ Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of accounts.
+ Assist with month-end processes related to credit entries, though journal entry experience is not required, but can be helpful.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in credit analysis, collections, and accounts receivable.
+ Ability to handle credit and collections responsibilities effectively.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Versatility and ability to adapt to various projects.
+ Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
+ Sharp mind and quick learning abilities.
Work Environment
Join a dynamic team consisting of 10 collectors across 5 regions, with additional support for unique accounts and a credit desk for data entry. The team is led by a supervisor/team lead and includes one team member based in Canada. The work environment encourages growth and training for the right individual, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
