Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic
Director of Accounting
to lead their financial operations. This role is essential for maintaining financial integrity and contributing to the overall success of the organization. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $180,000 to $210,000 per year. Responsibilities:
Manage and direct the core operations of the accounting department. Design an organizational structure that aligns with the department's goals and objectives Oversee all aspects of General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions Implement and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial transparency and efficiency
Qualifications:
Education : A 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major
Experience : At least 1 year in finance and accounting within the hospitality industry or a related professional area
Technical Skills :
MS Office : Proficiency in MS Office applications
Database Management : Familiarity with database systems
Financial Reporting Software : Experience with financial reporting tools
Attention to Detail : Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial processes
