
Director of Accounting and Finance (CONFIDENTIAL)

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Director of Accounting and Finance to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals.
Implement the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Monitor treasury functions, including investments and debt management.
Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the board of directors and investors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, MBA or a related field
10 years of experience in accounting, finance, with 5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Certified (CPA) or (CMA) preferred
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience :
Experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Proven track record of managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
