
CGP: Senior Tax Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $43.00 to $53.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and review monthly sales & use tax and excise tax returns Analyze and reconcile tax accounts on a monthly and annual basis Maintain tax registrations, certifications, and licenses across jurisdictions Perform internal audits and ensure documentation of exemption certificates and permits Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams to manage tax audits and compliance Requirements:
Review contracts and confirmations to assess direct and indirect tax implications Analyze tax issues, prepare write-ups, and ensure timely compliance Draft letters to tax jurisdictions to request guidance or resolve issues Monitor tax law changes and communicate updates to relevant teams Support accounting operations including month-end close, GL reconciliation, and audit preparation Qualifications:
Hold a degree in Accounting and have at least 5+ years of sales and use tax experience 3+ years of financial accounting experience and general accounting knowledge Show intermediate proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail Preferably hold a CPA license or be working toward certification Exhibit the ability to travel occasionally and manage special ad-hoc projects as needed
