Director of Accounting

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Director of Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $195,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the monthly accounting close process to ensure accurate and timely completion of close and account reconciliations Review and/or prepare technical accounting research memos Deliver monthly financial reports with narratives describing change drivers Work with internal and external auditors on requests and inquiries for internal controls and regulatory compliance Oversee, mentor, support and develop the accounting team while driving process improvements Requirements:

Highly proficient in Excel Excellent organizational and technical skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to take initiative and apply good judgment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Over seven (7) years of accounting experience, including at least three (3) years of public accounting experience
