Account Manager / Sales Representative
The Account Manager / Sales Representative is the primary point of contact for clients throughout the countertop selection and installation process. This role combines customer service, sales, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, comfortable walking clients through our stone yard, and capable of managing projects from initial consultation through final installation. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Sales Greet clients on-site and guide them through the stone yard, explaining material options, features, and pricing. Understand client needs, design preferences, and project requirements to recommend appropriate stone selections. Build strong relationships with homeowners, designers, contractors, and builders. Estimating & Quoting Review project drawings, measurements, and specifications to prepare accurate estimates and formal quotes. Communicate pricing, timelines, and scope clearly and professionally. Follow up on open quotes and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Project Management Serve as the client's main point of contact from initial consultation through installation. Coordinate with templaters, fabricators, installers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project flow. Track project milestones, manage scheduling, and resolve issues proactively. Ensure all client selections, approvals, and changes are documented and communicated. On-Site Support Walk clients through material inventory, explain variations in stone, and help them make informed decisions. Assist with layout reviews, edge profiles, sink options, and other design details. Customer Service Provide timely updates to clients throughout the project. Address concerns or questions with professionalism and problem-solving mindset. Ensure a positive customer experience that leads to referrals and repeat business. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles (construction or design industry preferred). Knowledge of granite, quartz, marble, or other stone materials is a plus (training provided). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read drawings, blueprints, or measurements (or willingness to learn). Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects at once. Comfortable working outdoors and walking clients through the yard. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Work Environment & Schedule On-site at our stone yard and showroom. Regular interaction with clients, contractors, and internal teams. Full-time position with occasional flexibility based on project needs.
