Lead Senior Estimator
Reporting to the Director of Preconstruction, the Lead Estimator will: Lead quantity takeoffs and develop full cost estimates, including materials, equipment, labor, and utilities. Review construction documents, analyze specifications, and prepare detailed estimates to support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Manage prequalification and pre-bid submissions, ensuring all documents and budgets are completed accurately and submitted before deadlines. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing, establish work hours, sequence activities, and support project goals. Provide regular updates to management and clients, while anticipating risks, developing contingencies, and maintaining accuracy in cost forecasting. Stay current with estimating software, tools, and industry best practices. Collaborate across internal teams, conduct site visits, and assist with tasks such as bid deliveries when needed. A successful Senior Estimator should have: 2+ years of construction estimating experience with a General Contractor Strong understanding of scheduling, estimating, and cost-control principles Working knowledge of project management software Mature professional with sound judgment Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal ability Strong time-management skills, able to handle multiple priorities with high attention to detail Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 USD.
