Body Shop Estimator
We are looking for a meticulous Body Shop Estimator to join the dynamic team at Mocks Body and Paint. In this in-person role, you will utilize your expertise in collision repair estimating to assess damage, prepare accurate estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to industry standards and best practices. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine repair needs, utilizing advanced estimating software and tools Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates, including parts, labor, and paint costs, while ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines Collaborate closely with technicians and management to streamline repair processes and enhance operational efficiency Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of repairs, estimates, and timelines Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, repair techniques, and insurance protocols to ensure accurate and effective estimates Work on-site with insurance adjusters and clients to resolve discrepancies and negotiate repair costs as necessary Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Body Shop Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry Proficient in using estimating software, such as CCC One or Mitchell, with a strong understanding of repair methodologies Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Preferred: Icar certification or equivalent industry-recognized qualification Experience in a dealership environment or high-volume body shop Knowledge of insurance processes and the ability to work with different insurance carriers Proficient in collision repair estimating software and related technologies Strong understanding of automotive repair processes, including structural and non-structural repairs Familiarity with OEM specifications and guidelines for repairs Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in estimates and repairs Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer concerns Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and delivering quality service We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Health, dental, and vision insurance available 401(k) retirement plan with company matching Paid time off and holiday pay Employee discounts on services and products (includes vehicle purchases) This role requires successful candidates to be based in-person at our facility in Grants Pass, Or
