
Digital Communications Lead for Web & Accessibility

Ahava Services is looking to hire a Communications Administrator who will be responsible to support the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external communications for website management. This role ensures that messaging is clear, consistent, accessible, and aligned with different client agencies organizational objectives standards.
Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between program teams, leadership, and external partners
Gather requirements and translate business needs into clear communications
Facilitate approvals and ensure timely delivery of materials
Maintain communication calendars and schedules aligned with program milestones
Coordinate release of time-sensitive communications
Support crisis or urgent communications as needed
Ensure adherence to Organization's communication standards and policies
Support compliance with accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG 2.1, ADA)
Maintain audit-ready documentation of communication workflows and approvals
Monitor communication effectiveness using defined metrics
Provide regular status updates and reports to leadership
Recommend process improvements for efficiency and clarity
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, IT, Marketing, or related field
2–5 years of experience in web content management or digital communications
Familiarity with public sector communication protocols and approval processes
Experience supporting large-scale programs or multi-stakeholder initiatives
Strong communication, editing, and organizational skills
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and content workflows
Preferred: Experience with AEM component development (HTL/Sightly), SEO, and analytics tools
