Overview The WRAL and FOX50-TV Account Manager plays a vital role in driving revenue growth by connecting advertisers with our engaged audience of sports enthusiasts. You leverage your sales expertise and industry knowledge to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify new business opportunities, and deliver customized advertising solutions that meet their marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Sell television campaigns and digital/OTT
ew media for WRAL and FOX50, and all digital platforms including WRAL.com. Generate revenue with new accounts by prospecting businesses. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales goals. Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients. Effectively research and cultivate new business clientele. Develop sales presentations to effectively present and position the television station during the sales process. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Persuasiveness, sales ability, results-oriented, ability to demonstrate consultative selling and team values. Excellent communication and presentation skills, computer proficiency required. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous media/sponsorship sales experience preferred. Experience in media (1+ years) preferred. Physical Demands: Primarily office-based with frequent client meetings, both in-person and virtual. Occasional travel required for client visits, industry events, and conferences. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on client needs. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. for promotional materials and event setup. Work Conditions: Office setting environment along with meeting clients onsite at their place of business.
