Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, NoSQL databases like Neo4j, and preferably SingleStore DB. The role will involve code review, performance tuning, database growth monitoring, storage planning, and infrastructure maintenance.

Responsibilities: Oracle Database Performance Tuning:

Analyze and optimize Oracle database performance. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Implement best practices for efficient database operations.

PL/SQL Code Review and Tuning Advisory:

Review and optimize PL/SQL code for efficiency and reliability. Provide advisory on best practices for PL/SQL development.

NoSQL Database Experience:

Proficiency in NoSQL databases, particularly Neo4j/Graph databases. Ability to work with non-relational data models and query languages.

Knowledge of SingleStore DB (Advantageous):

Familiarity with SingleStore DB architecture, administration, and optimization. Ability to leverage SingleStore DB features for performance enhancements.

Database Growth Monitoring and Infrastructure Maintenance:

Monitor database growth and plan for storage requirements. Perform regular infrastructure maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

Skills and Qualifications: Technical Proficiency:

Strong experience in Oracle Database performance tuning. Proficiency in PL/SQL with a track record of code optimization. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, specifically Neo4j/Graph databases. Familiarity with SingleStore DB is a plus. Knowledge of database growth monitoring, storage planning, and infrastructure maintenance.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze complex data structures and optimize database queries. Strong problem-solving skills related to database performance.

Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to articulate database performance issues and solutions effectively.
