Product Specialist
The Product Specialist is responsible for managing assigned product lines and driving the efficient launch of new vehicle applications to market. This role serves as the subject matter expert for designated product categories and collaborates cross-functionally to support design, development, testing, sourcing, and marketing activities for both new and existing products. Key responsibilities include: Managing assigned product lines throughout the full product lifecycle Serving as the subject matter expert for assigned categories Leading and supporting new product initiatives to achieve market positioning, margin, and profitability targets Delivering new product launches on time and within budget Contributing to overall brand, product, and line strategy development Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, operations, sales, and marketing throughout all phases of product development and launch Partnering with marketing to support product positioning, technical literature, training materials, and promotional content Maintaining accurate and complete product data within the Product Information Management (PIM) system, including attributes, applications, interchanges, and coverage opportunities Evaluating new product ideas and market opportunities, assessing impact to existing portfolio performance Coordinating with forecasting, supply chain, and sales planning teams to support inventory availability and fill rate targets Analyzing sales, market, and lifecycle data to provide recommendations regarding product status, expansion, consolidation, or exit strategies Qualifications and experience include: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred In lieu of a degree, 24 years of related experience and/or training will be considered Basic automotive knowledge and industry experience required Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences (customers, vendors, and internal teams) Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and professional documentation Ability to read, interpret, and develop technical documentation related to company products Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality Consistent ability to meet deadlines Basic requirements include: No written counseling's inclusive of COE's for Attendance, Conduct, Safety or Quality within the prior two year period We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
