Director, Pi/Quality Management
Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services. The Director, PI/Quality Management coordinates the overall Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance Program and provides education to staff regarding Performance Improvement. This role also ensures that patient's rights are adhered to, and patient grievances are resolved. Job Duties/Responsibilities
Participates with leaders from the governing body, management, medical and allied staff to improve the quality and appropriateness of patient care. Attend meetings including but not limited to: Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, QAPI, Nurse Management, Research, Medical Executive Work with individual service directors to develop pertinent Performance Improvement Plans for those services, as needed Facilitate monthly PI meeting and keeps meeting minutes Compile and present aggregate data and statistical reports related to process improvement to appropriate hospital and medical staff committees on a monthly basis. Ensures patient confidentiality is maintained and act to safeguard PHI. Benefit Highlights

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a health care related field required. Registered Nurse (RN) license, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in a psychiatric/chemical dependency setting. Experience with computer and business software programs preferred. Advanced skills in spreadsheet applications (Excel) required. CPR and HWC Crisis Intervention training must be completed prior to beginning work.
