You can review the additional job description section on postings for documents that may be required.* Prior to submitting your application, please review and update (if necessary) the information in your candidate profile as it will transfer to your application.## Job Title:Assistant Director, The Center on Responsible AI and Governance (CRAIG)## Department:Law | Data and GovernanceThe Ohio State University seeks an Assistant Director of Operations for the Center on Responsible AI and Governance (CRAIG), a four-university, NSF-funded Industry-University Cooperative Research Center (IUCRC) that brings together academia, industry, and government to pursue the breakthrough research and develop the workforce needed to achieve responsible AI.This position will assist the Director with, carry out, and may supervise others in: strategic planning; fundraising; marketing to and recruitment of new industry and government members; building and sustaining relationships with industry members and other key stakeholders, including through the scheduling of and participation in meetings; coordinating with partner universities; securing and updating of Membership Agreements, MOUs, and other Center contractual documents; ascertaining and aligning member and faculty research and workforce development priorities; planning, managing, and tracking of Center research, workforce development, peer-to-peer learning, advisory board, administrative, and other activities, including through use of the Airtable platform; hiring and supervision of Center staff; handling of Center reporting, budgeting, invoicing, travel arrangements, expense reimbursement, funds transfer, purchasing, financial reconciliation, and other key administrative functions; developing and updating the Center website and social media accounts; planning and managing the Center’s annual Distinguished Lecture and administering its non-IUCRC research projects; and other duties in furtherance of the Center’s goals and as requested by the Director.**Required Education and Experience:**

Bachelor’s degree in business or related area and 4 years of experience in management and/or administration, finance and budgeting.**Desired:**

Master’s degree and 4-8 years of relevant experience.

Experience in event planning, University procurement, travel and contracting desired.## Additional Information:The target hiring range for this job profile (S3) is $70,100-$80,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc## Location:Drinko Hall (0049)## Position Type:Term (Fixed Term)## Scheduled Hours:40## **Shift:**First Shift***Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
