Location: EAS Easton, MD – the largest EAS laboratory with more than 100 scientists servicing multiple portfolios. It serves as the center for biological, toxicology, chemistry, and environmental fate contract research for North America. Easton is located on the eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay and offers easy access to major cities like Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis.
Job Description
Report Writer Responsibilities
Assemble simple to moderately complex technical information from various sources into comprehensive documents such as study reports, data summaries, and spreadsheets.
Edit and format client‑specific and generic technical documents; utilize strong English background, excellent grammar, and solid writing skills.
Provide assistance on more complex reports as needed.
Proofread documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate reporting standards.
Create, edit, and import spreadsheets into technical documents.
Create spreadsheets for data management use.
Create and format advanced Adobe PDF documents, including bookmarks and links.
Scan and verify study‑specific raw data and related documentation.
Review raw data and calculations to verify accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GLPs, SOPs, and protocols.
Qualifications
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel) and organizational abilities.
Critical thinking, problem solving, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Aptitude for learning new techniques, performing multiple tasks concurrently, keeping accurate records, following instructions, and complying with company policies.
Basic Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in Science, Communications, English, or other related field.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Additional Information
Position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
