What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Work with the Project Development Leadership Team and SMEs on real estate management initiatives
Develop and implement a streamlined site acquisitions and land due diligence process
Provide input on site identification and land acquisition strategies
Develop and foster relationships with land owners and community stakeholders
Manage controlled sites, options, and land leases across the project development portfolio
What is Required (Qualifications)
6-10+ years of experience in Real Estate, Land Development, or Land Acquisition supporting energy infrastructure projects
Experience supporting real estate development initiatives for renewable energy projects
Solid experience with land title issues, mineral rights, and project development permitting process
Strong background in land negotiations and commercial real estate transactions
Expertise in site lease, purchase options, land permitting, purchase agreements, and site control initiatives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Law Degree / JD (Juris Doctor)
Working knowledge of utility-scale renewables, transmission, and battery storage space
