Responsibilities
Work with cross-functional stakeholders on real estate initiatives for utility-scale renewable projects
Develop and implement a streamlined site acquisitions and land due diligence process
Provide input on site identification and land acquisition strategies
Foster relationships with land owners and community stakeholders for collaborative site control negotiations
Manage controlled sites, options, and land leases across the project development portfolio
Qualifications
6-10+ years of experience in Real Estate, Land Development, or Land Acquisition supporting energy infrastructure projects
Experience supporting real estate development initiatives for renewable energy projects
Solid knowledge of land title issues, mineral rights, and project development permitting process
Strong background in land negotiations and commercial real estate transactions
Expertise in site lease, purchase options, land permitting, purchase agreements, and site control initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Law Degree / JD (Juris Doctor)
Working knowledge of utility-scale renewables in solar PV, energy storage, and wind
Ability to participate in advanced level discussions in the renewable energy space
