About The Role Tutor Perini Civil-East is seeking a
Concrete Superintendent
for the Midtown Bus Terminal project in Manhattan, NY. This leadership role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site concrete activities, ensuring work is
safe, on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards .
As Concrete Superintendent, you will work closely with project management, subcontractors, and field personnel to deliver
high-quality concrete structures
for a major infrastructure project in one of the most dynamic cities in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise all phases of concrete construction including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and finishing
Plan daily and weekly work activities, coordinating labor, equipment, and materials efficiently
Oversee field crews and subcontractors to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and site inspections
Review project drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve field issues and maintain schedules
Monitor project progress, provide regular updates on schedule and productivity
Ensure proper installation of formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and concrete placement
Manage quality control and inspection processes
Maintain site documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, and material tracking
Collaborate with other trades to avoid conflicts and support overall project success
