
Concrete Construction Superintendent

We are searching for an experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent at our Tarlton HQ facility.
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage concrete construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of concrete work, including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing, and supporting scopes of work (structural excavation, shoring, and foundations), along with strong leadership and project supervisory skills. This role also requires proficiency in digital documentation and construction management software to track project progress, schedules, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of building and/or civil concrete construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of foremen, crews, and subcontractors.
Interpret and enforce project blueprints, specifications, and industry standards.
Utilize electronic documentation tools for scheduling, safety and quality reporting, daily logs, and progress tracking.
Conduct site inspections to monitor safety compliance, workmanship, and project progress.
Resolve job site challenges and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies, conducting safety meetings as required.
Manage material orders, deliveries, and inventory to maintain workflow efficiency.
Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in building and/or civil concrete construction projects, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory, foreman, or superintendent role.
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge: Extensive experience with self-performed concrete formwork, rebar installation, finishing techniques, structural excavation, shoring, deep foundations, and related safety protocols as well as oversight of subcontracted electrical, mechanical, and other supporting work.
Technology: Proficiency in construction management software, digital documentation, and scheduling tools.
Certifications: [OSHA 30, ACI Certification, or other relevant credentials preferred or the ability and desire to obtain such credentials.]
Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site in various weather conditions, inspect job progress, and oversee labor-intensive tasks as needed.
