Job Summary:
The Small Business Commercial Account Manager is responsible for performing duties related to account marketing, coverage and exposure evaluation, day-to-day servicing and ensuring the Client’s service requirements are met on Select Business Accounts. This person will handle smaller to mid-sized commercial accounts, generally under $15,000 of combined P&C commission utilizing both the “Select Commercial Service Model” and the Commercial Lines 130 day service timeline.

Competitive Compensation: Base salary range of $55,000-65,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive Account Services: Manage binding, invoicing, policy checking, and processing audits with a focus on accuracy
Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with Producers on client renewal strategies, preparing submissions, and delivering proposals for existing Commercial Lines clients
Continuous Development: Attend seminars and classes for continuous skill and knowledge development
Endorsement Expertise: Screen and prepare accurate endorsement requests for Commercial Lines clients; review applications, policies and audits
Effective communication: Maintain effective communication with Producers, promptly handling suspense items and informing them of significant account activity
Strategic Contributions: Contribute to cross-selling efforts, evaluate new product opportunities, and participate in process training for new hires, while maintaining a policy per account average of 2.5 or greater
Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of 2 years commercial insurance experience including strong knowledge of insurance terminology, concepts and coverage
Hold a Property & Casualty Agents/Brokers License in good standing
Associate or Bachelor degree preferred OR completion of an Insurance Study Program resulting in the attainment of at least 1 of the following designations: AIS, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CIC, CISR, CISC, AIN
