Description Following established procedures and formats, researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for use in routine documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications
Ensuring documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
Researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications
Ensuring technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adhering to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
Assisting in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations
Maintaining documentation in content or document management systems
Providing input to schedules to track document delivery milestones
Editing proposal and/or marketing documentation

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Skills Performing work in this job’s occupational field requires the application of craft, vocational or administrative skills, and methods taught in specialized training and/or learned through formal apprenticeships
Intermediate level of proficiency to work on assignments of standard difficulty
Artistic skills and manual skills
Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
