Overview
Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – West Coast (Metal Stamping)
Location: West Coast, United States (Remote/Field-Based)
Position Summary We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead business development efforts across the West Coast of the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal stamping or related manufacturing processes, with proven success in selling into the medical industry. Experience in aerospace markets is highly desirable. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence on the West Coast
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, particularly within the medical device sector
Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements
Lead the RFQ process, including cost estimation, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies
Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events
Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and reporting to senior management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in metal stamping, precision manufacturing, or a related industry
Proven experience selling into the medical industry is essential
Experience selling into the aerospace industry is strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a technical sales environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including metal stamping and related secondary operations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage a large geographic territory
Willingness to travel frequently within the West Coast region
