Situated along the scenic banks of the Guadalupe River, this position offers the unique opportunity to live and work in one of the state's most beautiful recreational regions, known for its vibrant outdoor culture and serene natural landscapes. The successful candidate will serve as the chief architect of the camper experience, guiding a dedicated leadership team and a seasonal staff of over 100 individuals. This is more than a management role; it is a legacy opportunity to shape the character, faith, and confidence of young women within a tradition-rich environment that has defined excellence in youth development since 1926. Position Responsibilities

Provide executive oversight for all camp operations, ensuring a seamless daily rhythm, rigorous safety protocols, and alignment with American Camp Association standards. Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing seasonal staff, leading a comprehensive Orientation Week to instill core values and performance expectations. Steward signature traditions and large-scale events, including tribal ceremonies and equestrian shows, with meticulous attention to detail and emotional impact. Serve as the primary liaison and voice of the organization to parents, navigating sensitive situations with high emotional intelligence and professionalism. Foster a culture of accountability and encouragement, personally engaging in the daily life of the camp to ensure every camper feels known and valued. Partner with year-round ownership and executive leadership to execute strategic priorities and maintain the physical and cultural integrity of the brand. Position Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of senior leadership experience within a premier residential camp, elite private school, or high-level youth development organization. Proven track record in crisis management, operational logistics, and the development of emerging leaders. Deep alignment with the philosophy of all-girls education and character formation. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead through presence and build trust across diverse stakeholders. Stamina and flexibility for a fully immersive on-site lifestyle during the camp season. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or specific expertise in Texas youth camp regulations preferred.
