
Event Manager

We’re partnering with a leading events and experiential marketing company to find a talented Event Manager. This role is remote within the region and offers a 10 to 26-week temporary engagement, perfect for professionals experienced in managing large-scale trade shows and vendor activations.

Event Manager Responsibilities
Manage onsite execution during event days, including vendor load-in/load-out, run-of-show coordination, and rapid issue resolution. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, providing regular status updates and handling escalations as needed. Track budgets, POs, invoices, and shipping/inventory status for booth assets and collateral to ensure accurate post-event reconciliation. Oversee the entire process of booth construction and event setup, working closely with vendors, designers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution. Coordinate logistical arrangements with the convention venue, including electrical, lighting, internet, and delivery services. Manage the production and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and brand guidelines. Organize and facilitate promotional activities during events, such as giveaways and attendee engagement initiatives. Develop detailed project timelines and monitor progress to meet deadlines within scope and budget. Event Manager Qualifications
5+ years' experience leading end-to-end trade show execution (planning through onsite support), including cross-functional stakeholder management. Strong budget, PO/invoice, and vendor SOW oversight skills to keep programs on scope and on time. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Airtable) and building clear status reporting for leadership. Proven experience managing sponsor or vendor activations at large trade shows or similar events. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities. Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced setting with strict deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred. Perks and Benefits
