Why We're Hiring The organisation is expanding its product and operational capabilities and requires an analytical, proactive Junior Business Analyst to help define requirements, document processes, and support product led initiatives. This role is intentionally designed as a
launchpad into Product Ownership , ideal for someone early in their career looking for accelerated development. Key Responsibilities
Gather, document, and clarify business and technical requirements Translate complex conversations into clear, structured documentation and workflows Support process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design Work closely with the COO on daily product, operational and strategic initiatives Participate in workshops and meetings to understand business needs Help prioritise tasks and projects based on impact Shadow senior leadership to understand decision making and roadmap development Prepare reports, dashboards and summaries for stakeholders Contribute to improvements in tools, processes, and documentation standards Must Haves
Ability to ask questions, challenge assumptions and extract clear requirements Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Highly organised; able to manage multiple workstreams Comfortable with ambiguity and fast paced environments Technical aptitude - ideally with a background in Computer Science, Data, Engineering or similar (no coding required, but must understand technical concepts) Ideal Profile
1-3 years' experience in Business Analysis, Product, Operations, or related fields Someone who enjoys communication and stakeholder engagement more than pure technical engineering Fast learner with the ambition to grow into a Product Owner role 0-12 months:

Ownership of product areas, potential leadership opportunities High growth, fast paced scale up environment Greenfield build - shaping new processes, not inheriting legacy systems Flat structure with access to senior leadership Mix of remote and onsite work (2-3 days per week in Birmingham) How to Apply
