Since 1940, we’ve remained committed to creating better textiles—delivered seamlessly by experts who care.The **Manager of Subcontractor Relationships** will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding qualified subcontractors, managing their performance scorecards, and maintaining a central installer list. This role requires close collaboration with the installation services team and the Installation Manager to ensure seamless integration of subcontractors into our operations. Additionally, this role will assist in estimating, sending, and receiving bids to qualify the correct subcontractors for specific jobs.**Key responsibilities include:**



Sourcing and Onboarding Subcontractors:



Identify and evaluate potential subcontractors to meet the company's quality and performance standards.



Facilitate the onboarding process, including contract negotiations, compliance checks, and initial training.



Scorecard Management:



Develop and maintain a comprehensive scoring system to evaluate subcontractor performance based on key metrics (quality, timeliness, compliance, etc.).



Regularly update scorecards to reflect current performance levels.



Prepare detailed performance reports for review by senior management.



Master Installer List Maintenance:



Manage the master installer list reflecting changes in subcontractor status, performance scores, and availability.



Ensure all subcontractor information is correctly documented and easily accessible for relevant teams.



Relationship Management:



Foster strong, positive relationships with subcontractors to ensure their alignment with company standards and goals.



Address and resolve any issues or disputes promptly and professionally.



Provide ongoing support and feedback to subcontractors to facilitate their continuous improvement.



Collaboration and Communication:



Work closely with Installation Team to align subcontractor resources with project needs.



Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure all relevant parties are informed of subcontractor statuses and performance.



Participate in regular meetings to discuss subcontractor performance and address any potential challenges.



Estimating and Bidding Assistance:



Assist in preparing estimates for projects, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.



Send out requests for bids to potential subcontractors and evaluate the responses.



Receive and analyze bids to determine the most qualified subcontractors for specific jobs.



Ensure the bidding process is thorough and fair, leading to the selection of the best subcontractors for each project.



Training Facilitation:



Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for subcontractors on various product types and installation techniques.



Ensure subcontractors are well-versed in the latest product specifications and industry**Qualifications include:**



Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred



Experience: Proven experience in subcontractor management, onboarding, or a similar role.



Certifications: Preferred or required certifications and licenses



Hard Skills: Knowledge of construction industry standards and compliance requirements. Proficiency in using project management and CRM software. Experience in estimating and bidding processes is highly desirable.



Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
