Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy
Current license and/or registration in the state of Maryland (as applicable)
Passion for helping others and contributing to a team environment
Job Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, by state practice guidelines
Assist in identifying appropriate patients and refer them for rehabilitation services
Accurately document patient participation and progress in a timely manner, with PT co-signatures as required
Ensure all MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges are obtained
Support the completion of documentation and reports per facility and state regulations
