With continued investment in its U.S. customs brokerage and compliance function, the business is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to support ongoing growth. About the Role
This is a key position within the customs brokerage team, based in Chicago, IL, operating on a hybrid working model. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, supporting import operations, and acting as a subject matter expert across customs processes. The role offers a blend of operational responsibility and compliance oversight within a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Oversee import entries and ensure compliance with CBP regulations Classify goods using HTS and ensure accurate duty calculation Review and audit customs documentation for accuracy and compliance Act as the primary point of contact for customs-related queries Liaise with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) when required Support internal teams with customs procedures and regulatory guidance Candidate Requirements
Active Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification (required) Proven experience within customs brokerage and import operations Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and compliance standards Experience within freight forwarding or logistics environments Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities Ability to work both independently and within a team What You Can Expect
