Reports to: Physical Therapist/Owner/Administrator
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistants Current PTA license Good computer skills Proficient in the English language Excellent communication skills Core Responsibilities
Must maintain at all times while working with the Physical Therapist and patients: Standards of Ethical Conduct for the Physical Therapist Assistant (Standards) or the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Support and implement the mission and core values of Central Rehab Clinic, Inc. Must relate well to adult, children and geriatric patients Specific Responsibilities and Duties
Provide patient care as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist Contribute to patient evaluations Assist Physical Therapist with patient treatment program Consistently exercise discretion and judgment during daily job performance Prepare patients for treatment Educate patients on treatment plans, home exercise programs, home safety programs, therapy equipment Patient documentation within PTA scope of practice guidelines Ensure that all massage lotion bottles are filled at the end of each day or as needed Ensure that all treatment rooms are stocked and in orderly condition
