Join our Pocatello team to help gather signatures for a statewide Idaho ballot initiative. As a Petition Circulator, you’ll work throughout Pocatello and surrounding areas, meeting voters, attending community events, and visiting neighborhoods to collect valid signatures from registered Idaho voters.
This position is in high demand, and available training slots are filling quickly. The role involves engaging directly with the public, explaining the initiative, and ensuring all collected signatures meet Idaho petition requirements. It’s a great opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy talking with people and want to participate in the democratic process.
Qualifications Requirements
Must be an Idaho resident
Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license or state‑issued ID
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to reliably travel within Pocatello and surrounding areas
Must be comfortable approaching and speaking with voters door‑to‑door and at public locations
Must be reliable, organized, and self‑motivated
Must follow all Idaho petition circulation laws and campaign guidelines
Must actively work assigned walk books and targeted voter areas
Must maintain professional and respectful interactions with the public
Additional Requirements
Maintain a professional appearance while representing the campaign
No visible face or neck tattoos
No face piercings while working
Must maintain an average of at least five (5) signatures per hour
Must maintain at least 70% signature validity
Additional Information Benefits
Excellent pay - $25.00 hourly base
High performing canvassers can earn $30.00 in their 2nd week
