The campaign to elect Youn Chung as the Councilmember of New York City's 19th District is seeking a Field Organizer to join our ballot access efforts. In this crucial role, you will engage with voters and assist a citywide petitioning operation to secure Youn's place on the ballot. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and have a passion for local politics. Responsibilities: Engage with voters and collect valid petition signatures Verify signatures are legible and accurate Submit completed petitions to the campaign Track daily progress and file reports to the Campaign Manager Meet daily and weekly goals Plan and oversee outreach events Represent the campaign in a professional and courteous manner Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications: Must be registered to vote in New York State as a Democrat Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently and with the team Motivated to achieve daily and weekly goals District ties are a plus
