Campaign Field Interns
to support a Michigan statewide ballot access campaign working to secure
15,000 petition signatures
and help a progressive candidate earn a place on the ballot. Interns will work directly in the field collecting petition signatures, engaging voters, and supporting day-to-day campaign operations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on opportunity to gain real experience in grassroots organizing, voter engagement, and campaign field work. We're looking for motivated individuals who enjoy having fun, working as a team, and making real change. While these internship/volunteer positions are unpaid, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience and be part of a meaningful campaign effort! If this sounds like you, please come join our team! Responsibilities include: Collecting petition signatures in public settings Engaging voters and representing the campaign professionally Working closely with campaign leadership and field staff Ensuring signatures meet legal and data accuracy requirements Details: Location: Michigan (Metro Detroit area, in-person) Duration: Feb 2 April 24, 2026 (temporary internship) Schedule: Flexible, including evenings and weekends Training provided; no prior campaign experience required This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, comfortable talking to people, and interested in civic engagement and political organizing!
