LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in the South Chicago area, seeking an experienced

Human Resources Manager

to support a 3–4 month maternity leave. This role is fully onsite and serves as the primary HR presence for the organization’s leading production facility.

Lead day‑to‑day HR support for a unionized workforce

Participate in grievance meetings and support CBA compliance

Handle employee relations, attendance, corrective actions, and HR documentation

Partner closely with Operations, Quality, R&D, and plant leadership

Support performance review cycles and internal communications

Coordinate production hiring needs with corporate TA (scheduling, onsite support)

Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floor

3+ years HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

Union experience required

Strong employee relations and conflict‑resolution skills

Comfortable acting as the sole onsite HR support

Bilingual Spanish is a strong plus, not required

Professional and confident working with hourly and leadership teams

Location: Chicago (South Side)

Working Schedule: Monday‑Friday 8‑5pm, On‑site

Pay: $35‑42/hr
