Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 per year

Job Details Working under the general direction of the President, performs a wide variety of duties in the development, introduction and maintenance of our products. These activities are in support of the overall business plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and distribute the “Product Development Specification” to include, but not be limited to:
A general preamble describing the overall scope of the project.
A detailed definition of the product design requirements.
A detailed analysis of the market for this product, which will include, but not be limited to:
Cost targets
Competitors
Argument for why the new product is needed
Market potential (dollars)
Expected market share growth over 5 years
A product introduction schedule.
Manage projects to completion and assume overall responsibility for meeting target dates and target costs.
Coordinate preparation of the “Product Introduction Package” with the respective sales manager to include, but will not be limited to:
Sales brochure
Technical brochure
Feature/benefit analysis
Price sheets
Order forms
IOM manuals
Parts list (where applicable)
PowerPoint introduction program
Integration into Specifier and Informer electronic media
Responsible for the preparation of list price tables, order forms, and technical literature.
Maintaining accurate records of product line sales and profits.
Maintaining the list prices.
Maintaining competitor information.
Development of reports, training materials, training sessions and special projects completed from time to time.
The product manager possesses technical knowledge, and competitive market knowledge, above and beyond the average employee and will be called upon to share that expertise as described.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Position Requirements
10-15 years of experience in HVAC industry
Mechanical Engineering Degree or HVAC Engineering Product experience
Microsoft Office, Power Point, Market Analysis, ROI Analysis in Excel
Experience giving presentations
Traveling to trade shows for presentations once or twice a year
