Leasing Coordinator (Mornings)

Description Job Overview: The Leasing Agent position requires a dynamic individual to provide lease-up services for a high-rise residential condominium. The position will require the leasing specialist to be accountable for meeting lease-up specified goal. This position will require responsibility for leasing properties in accordance with policies and procedures set by management.

Your Responsibilities

Greets all prospective residents and shows apartments.

Handles all leasing, marketing, and customer service responsibilities.

Focuses on converting leads into effective leases by outreach, prospecting and lead generation.

Processes applications and lease renewals.

Provides tours of community to prospects, using persuasive techniques to highlight community amenities and property features.

Coordinates work orders with the maintenance staff.

Meets with Property Manager on a regular basis to report progress in accomplishing set goals.

Works as a team and with the Property Manager to keep staff upbeat and motivated, implementing contests and incentives as directed.

Works with Property Manager to recommend appropriate rent levels at the community by completed market surveys and area competition shops.

Works as a team with other Leasing Coordinators to ensure that all work is completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

Coordinates schedule with Property Manager and Leasing Coordinators to ensure there is office coverage during operable business hours.

Attends all relevant training opportunities provided.

Follows all policies and procedures as they relate to leasing apartments.

Responsible for maintaining an overall leasing ratio of 40% or greater.

Performs and assists in planning outreach marketing.

Responsible to consistently maintain a shopping score of 95% or greater.

Responsible for supporting both the Leasing and Management office.

Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree (A.A./A.S.) in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Real Estate experience a plus.

Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Applications.

Yardi experience required.

Action and results-oriented, enthusiastic.

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Excellent organizational skills.

Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence.

Pioneering spirit/drive.

Ability to meet stringent deadlines.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing.

The employee is required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time as well as talking on the phone for extended periods of time.

Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.

Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends occasionally.

Driving required.

Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.

Supervisory Responsibility

None.

Additional Information

Weekdays & Weekends 10:00am - 6:30pm.

What We Offer As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation: $25.00 hourly.
