Key Interiors is seeking a
Construction Superintendent
to lead day-to-day field operations across commercial and specialty construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in running organized, efficient, and high-quality jobsites while working closely with Project Managers and subcontractors. ️ About Key Interiors

Consistent pipeline of quality projects (not chasing work) Exposure to high-end commercial and technically complex builds Work within a collaborative design-build team Opportunity to take ownership of projects and grow into senior leadership ️ Key Responsibilities
Lead daily on-site construction operations and subcontractors Maintain project schedules and keep work progressing on time Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA compliance Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors Review drawings and ensure work aligns with plans and specifications Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and efficiency Lead site meetings and communicate progress and issues clearly Troubleshoot and resolve field issues quickly ✅ Qualifications
5–10+ years of commercial construction field experience Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or Foreman ready to step up Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate jobsite activities Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills OSHA 30 certification preferred Ability to work on-site in Lombard, IL and surrounding areas ⭐ Preferred (but not required)
Experience in commercial interiors or tenant buildouts Experience with lab, cleanroom, or high-spec construction Familiarity with Procore or similar construction software Compensation & Growth
$115,000 – $130,000+ (based on experience) Performance-based bonus Opportunity for advancement as the company grows
