Lockheed Martin values your skills, training, and education.
The Work The RMS Trade Show Team Manager serves as the primary liaison for internal customers and external stakeholders, translating business objectives into end-to-end trade show plans that align with RMS strategy and product roadmaps. In this role you will direct, mentor, and motivate a cross‑functional team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing while maintaining critical tools and standardized workflows that provide real‑time visibility into project status and budget health. You will own a flexible, multi‑million dollar trade show budget—conducting quarterly reviews, forecasting adjustments, and post‑show cost per contact analyses—and reallocate funds as priorities shift, identifying cost‑saving innovations without compromising brand impact. Executive engagement is a core component: you will prepare and deliver senior‑level presentations, status reports, and after‑action reviews, and on occasion will support the RMS President’s Office as the trusted point of contact for high‑visibility events.
The Mgr. will oversee the annual trade show calendar—including Corporate and Tier1 shows—managing venue selection, booth design, space negotiations, logistics, lodging, equipment rental, and on‑site set‑up/dismantle, as well as coordinating product displays, customer receptions, special events, and staffing across multiple lines of business. Staying current on emerging exhibit design trends, digital engagement platforms, and sustainable booth practices, you will propose and pilot innovative concepts such as immersive AR experiences or modular booth systems to differentiate RMS and maximize ROI. The Mgr. will lead the adoption of new processes, technologies, and best‑practice guidelines, facilitate cross‑functional engagement, produce comprehensive after‑action reports, and partner with Comms and Business Development teammates to turn insights into future show‑selection strategies, all while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, export controls, and defense/commercial regulations.
