About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Life Plan Community. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, adaptive, and collaborative leader with a strong background in developing and maintaining excellent resident and staff relations. This pivotal role involves executing strategies that align with the organization's mission and values, ensuring quality operations, and fostering a culture of engagement and satisfaction. The Executive Director will be responsible for the community's financial performance, strategic planning, and will be a key representative of the organization both internally and externally.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), at least 8 years of progressive leadership experience in a CCRC environment, and a proven track record in a similar executive role. Strong strategic and financial skills are essential, as is the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, experience in a union environment, and a strong background in hospitality, customer service, and interpersonal relations. A California Nursing Home Administrator’s license or RCFE is preferred, with a willingness to obtain the necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment. The role requires a leader who can provide appropriate oversight and leadership to the campus, and who is dedicated to creating the best possible living and working environment for residents and staff.
