The ideal candidate is based in New York or New Jersey, or within an easy commute to New York City, and has a strong track record of closing enterprise deals.What You’ll DoOwn and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts within your assigned regionIdentify, qualify, and close new business opportunitiesApply a value-based sales methodology (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC) to drive deal successBuild strong executive-level relationships and act as a trusted advisorDevelop and execute strategic account and territory plansPartner with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success to deliver winning solutionsDeliver presentations and product demonstrations to drive demand and expansionMaintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and account data in SalesforceStay current on market trends and competitive landscapeRepresent Checkmarx at select industry events and trade showsTravel as needed within the regionRequirementsProven success selling SaaS, subscription, or cloud-based solutions to large enterprises4+ years of applicable sales experienceStrong experience with MEDDIC / MEDDPICC sales methodologiesCybersecurity sales experience preferredExperience selling application security, DevSecOps, or software development tools is a plusDemonstrated success in new logo acquisition and complex deal managementStrong communication, negotiation, and executive presenceSelf-driven, results-oriented “hunter” mindsetHigh technical aptitude and experience with Salesforce and CRM toolsWhat we have to offerCompetitive salary: OTE $260,000 to $300,000Medical, dental, vision, 401(K), and additional incentives Culture of community and opportunity to work in a growing organization Room for career growth and professional development Training and educational opportunities Checkmarx is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
