We believe that doing good is always good for business and we have stood for this since Kellogg Company was founded more than 120 years ago. We are passionate about doing our part to make nutritious foods, create social connectivity and respect natural resources. Together, these actions create positive progress for people and the planet - today and for years to come. We have big plans for how we are going to accomplish this, and we would love for you to join us in this effort.

The

Senior Manager, Demand Strategy & Forecasting

operationalizes the strategic development, integration, and maintenance of short-, mid-, and long-range demand forecasts. This role ensures the "how" of forecasting-driving the day-to-day analytics, tool optimization, and cross-functional data synthesis-to provide leadership with a reliable, insight-driven operational signal.

This role serves as a key

Demand Strategy and Commercial planning partner

, owning the integrity and integration of the

enterprise demand signal

across short, mid, and long-term horizons. The role defines the

"what" and "where" of demand

by translating commercial priorities, customer insights, and market dynamics into a clear, analytics-driven

demand plan

that forms the foundation for IBP, financial commitments, and downstream supply and capacity planning decisions. Accountable for forecasting execution, assumption management, and

forecasting governance

at the platform and portfolio level, this position delivers executive-ready insights, scenarios, and performance analysis to inform leadership decision-making. Rather than managing day-to-day supply execution or supply chain strategy, the role focuses on establishing forecasting discipline and influencing cross-functional alignment through IBP to ensure demand-led priorities are clearly understood and effectively adopted by Finance, Commercial teams, and Supply Planning as a critical consumer of the demand signal.

While the role has a strong

long-term, strategic focus

, it also requires hands-on leadership in

solving real-time delivery and capability gaps

when plans deviate, often leading cross-functional problem-solving efforts to protect commercial delivery.

This is a Hybrid role based in our Battle Creek, Michigan Corporate Headquarters.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Manage the Execution of Demand Forecasting Across Horizons

Drive the end-to-end operational process for developing and maintaining demand forecasts across the short-mid-long-term horizons.

Operationalize Demand Strategy & Portfolio Planning

Implement planning frameworks at the portfolio level by translating broader commercial strategies and market trends into actionable, data-driven forecast models.

Manage the underlying assumptions that feed into the consensus process.

Execute Advanced Modeling & Forecast Signal Analytics

Directly manage and execute complex analytical models (e.g., SCIM, category trend models).

Function as the technical subject matter expert to pressure-test signal sufficiency, enhancing the reliability of the baseline forecast through rigorous data validation.

Administer Long-Range Demand Planning Processes

Maintain the 3-5 year Long-Range Demand Plan, ensuring it accurately reflects current capacity alignment and financial outlooks.

Synthesize scenario-based data to support executive-level enterprise decision-making.

Synthesize Aggregate Building Block Insights for IBP

Gather and analyze data building blocks to evaluate how demand signals are performing against foundational assumptions.

Prepare structured technical inputs and "what-if" scenario views for the Senior Director to present during Executive Demand Reviews.

Prepare Executive-Ready Technical Insights

Analyze forecast accuracy, volatility, and market dynamics to generate clear, data-backed reports. Identify specific risks and opportunities, providing the Senior Director with the technical evidence needed to influence business decisions.

Drive Cross-Functional Coordination & Integrated Planning

Function as the primary operational partner for Sales, Finance, and Supply teams. Ensure tactical alignment between demand signals and financial commitments, resolving day-to-day planning discrepancies across functions.

Architect SAP IBP Long-Range Planning & Process Governance

Partner strategically with the Data Systems team to enable and optimize Long-Range Planning (LRP) capabilities within SAP IBP.

Lead the design and implementation of the governance framework required to transition 3-year strategic plans into the demand planners' operational horizons (1-18 months).

Lead, Coach, and Develop Demand Planning Talent

Function as a role model for demand planning best practices, reinforcing standard work, disciplined execution, and a fact-based, one-number mindset across the planning organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.

8 plus years of progressive experience in-demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or related functions.

Demonstrated experience leading portfolio-level forecasting processes in a complex, cross-functional environment.

Strong understanding of supply and demand planning drivers, KPIs, and IBP connections.

Advanced proficiency in SAP (IBP or similar) and forecasting tools; strong analytical and data manipulation skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Proven ability to lead, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders using data-driven insights.

Strong people leadership, coaching, and talent development capability.
