Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area for a Social Media Marketing Intern.
You’ll be directly involved in building and scaling our online presence—not just posting content, but helping drive engagement and brand growth.
What you’ll do
Create, edit, and schedule high-quality social media content
Engage with followers and manage community interactions
Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics
Support execution of digital marketing campaigns
Collaborate with the team to test and implement new content strategies
Conduct research on trends, competitors, and audience behavior
Compensation
$22/hour (hourly paid role)
Performance-based incentives tied to growth and results
Qualifications
Experience REQUIRED in social media marketing or content creation (personal brand, freelance work, or prior role)
Strong understanding of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
Basic knowledge of digital marketing and growth strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinker with strong attention to detail
Familiarity with analytics tools and content scheduling platforms is a plus
Ability to take initiative and execute without constant supervision
Ideal Candidate
Knows the difference between posting content vs. creating content that performs
Understands trends and how to adapt them to a brand
Moves fast, tests ideas, and learns from data
Has proof of work (portfolio, accounts, or past results)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (in progress or completed)
Relevant certifications are a plus—but execution matters more than credentials
