Graphic Designer – Multichannel Brand & Ecommerce - Contract to Hire
A growing consumer apparel organization is looking for a Graphic Designer to drive visual execution across multiple brands and sales channels. You’ll support both digital and physical touchpoints – from ecommerce content and online marketing to product packaging and on-garment graphics.
This position is suited to a systems-minded designer who thrives on organization, accuracy, and flawless production. You enjoy moving between detailed production work and creative adaptation: one day refining imagery for ecommerce listings, the next finalizing hangtags, labels, or apparel graphics for production.
You will collaborate closely with a Senior Brand & Ecommerce Designer and the marketing team to interpret creative direction, translate it across multiple formats, and maintain visual consistency across brands, platforms, and product lines.
Core Responsibilities
Ecommerce & Digital Asset Production
- Develop and refresh product detail pages (PDPs), enhanced product content, and branded storefront visuals for various online channels.
- Resize, reformat, and version photography and graphics for marketplaces, direct-to-consumer sites, and retail partner platforms.
- Produce digital marketing creatives for social media, paid media, email, and site merchandising.
- Prepare and organize creative variations for testing, optimization, and performance-driven campaigns.
Print, Packaging & Production Files
- Design and lay out hangtags, woven and printed labels, packaging inserts, spec sheets, and related collateral for apparel products.
- Build clean, accurate mechanicals and prepare fully print-ready files following printer and vendor specifications.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external production partners to ensure correct color, materials, dielines, and final outputs.
- Maintain a structured, clearly labeled file system, including version control and asset libraries across large SKU counts.
Apparel Graphics & Brand Adaptation
- Support the development of tee graphics and other apparel-focused visual elements.
- Translate overarching creative concepts into brand-appropriate layouts across multiple labels, categories, and seasonal collections.
- Guard visual standards, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines in both digital and physical executions.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of professional experience as a graphic designer or production designer.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a strong understanding of file setup and best practices.
- Hands-on experience creating print-ready artwork and working with print and packaging production requirements.
- Familiarity with designing for ecommerce, including asset specs, image optimization, and platform constraints.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once.
Preferred
- Experience building assets for major online marketplaces (such as large retailer or marketplace PDPs) or retailer ecommerce platforms.
- Exposure to AI-enabled creative or productivity tools (for example, image generation or content-assist platforms).
- Background working with apparel, consumer packaged goods, or other consumer-facing brands.
What You’ll Gain
- A competitive compensation and benefits package.
- A collaborative, design-forward environment with exposure to a broad portfolio of lifestyle and consumer brands.
- Opportunities to work with modern design and production tools inside a team that embraces innovation.
- A hybrid schedule based in Gardena, CA, with four days per week in-office and one remote day.
