6-Month Assignment (potential to extend / convert)

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite in San Rafael, CA – Tues/Thurs for local candidates; remote considered)

Pay Rate: $120–$124/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant to support brand growth initiatives and execution of key marketing strategies. This individual will play a critical role in developing and deploying promotional tactics targeting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and/or caregivers, while partnering cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence and compliance.



Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with brand team members to develop and execute promotional materials (e.g., panels, leave-behinds, rep-triggered emails) for branded and unbranded campaigns
  • Support planning and execution of brand activities including speaker programs, advisory boards, conferences, and sales meetings
  • Collaborate with agency partners to guide development of marketing assets
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at driving brand demand and market growth
  • Provide operational and project management support across marketing initiatives
  • Manage budgets, contracts, accruals, and reconciliation processes
  • Ensure all materials align with regulatory, legal, and medical review standards
  • Attend key events such as conferences, training sessions, and speaker programs as needed


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of U.S. biotech/pharma marketing experience
  • Proven experience developing marketing materials in a regulated environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience managing external vendors and agency partners
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Experience collaborating with promotional review committees (medical, legal, regulatory)
  • Bachelor’s degree required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas; rare disease experience a plus
  • Prior pharma sales experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats and standard business tools (MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Teams)
  • Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
