Location: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite in San Rafael, CA – Tues/Thurs for local candidates; remote considered)
Pay Rate: $120–$124/hour

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant to support brand growth initiatives and execution of key marketing strategies. This individual will play a critical role in developing and deploying promotional tactics targeting healthcare professionals (HCPs) and/or caregivers, while partnering cross-functionally to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities Partner with brand team members to develop and execute promotional materials (e.g., panels, leave-behinds, rep-triggered emails) for branded and unbranded campaigns
Support planning and execution of brand activities including speaker programs, advisory boards, conferences, and sales meetings
Collaborate with agency partners to guide development of marketing assets
Contribute to initiatives aimed at driving brand demand and market growth
Provide operational and project management support across marketing initiatives
Manage budgets, contracts, accruals, and reconciliation processes
Ensure all materials align with regulatory, legal, and medical review standards
Attend key events such as conferences, training sessions, and speaker programs as needed
Required Qualifications 4+ years of U.S. biotech/pharma marketing experience
Proven experience developing marketing materials in a regulated environment
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience managing external vendors and agency partners
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
Experience collaborating with promotional review committees (medical, legal, regulatory)
Preferred Qualifications Experience across multiple therapeutic areas; rare disease experience a plus
Prior pharma sales experience is a plus
Familiarity with Veeva PromoMats and standard business tools (MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Teams)
Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred
