Summary of Role:
As one of the most essential contributors to the off-price luxury sales division, the ideal Account Executive candidate is a proactive and motivated professional with 5+ years of experience within the off-price market. Reporting to a Senior Vice President, the Account Executive will demonstrate a sharp business acumen when conducting themselves in the company’s fast paced environment of lucrative deal making. This person is forward-thinking, strategic, and will use their skills to optimize the way in which accounts are managed. They will be responsible for Sales and inventory targets monthly, quarterly and annually.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain client relationships with buyers, ecommerce sites, and department stores
- Implement and manage the development of sales strategy in conjunction with the team.
- Create and analyze wholesale projections. Set and monitor annual sales plans while consistently achieving or exceeding these goals.
- Forecast Sales and Manage inventory to ensure appropriate stock levels and internal margin targets are met.
- Analyze market competition and trends, making adjustments to strategies in accordance with findings
- Expand Wholesale Distribution to non- traditional retail partners
- Conduct client meetings and attend market events to present assortment
- Process orders and work with customer service to confirm all orders are properly entered and shipped from end to end.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a related off-price Sales or Account management role
- Off-price luxury experience is a plus, not required
- Demonstrate a courteous and client-facing style of professionalism
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong Understanding of retail math and sales planning
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficient in MS office; strong Excel skills
- Ability to travel occasionally to support business needs
