Eaglewood Golf Course – Clubhouse Landscaping & Gardener (Seasonal)
General Purpose
Eaglewood Golf Course is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to assist with landscaping and gardening around the clubhouse, event center, and surrounding grounds. This part-time position plays an important role in maintaining the visual appeal and first impression of the facility for golfers, event guests, and the community.
Position Details
Title:
Clubhouse Landscaping & Gardener
Schedule:
1–2 days per week (5–10 hours total)
Pay Range:
$10–$16 per hour (based on experience)
Location:
Eaglewood Golf Course – North Salt Lake, UT
Supervision Received Works under the general direction of the General Manager and/or designated facilities staff. Tasks are assigned with clear expectations, and the employee is expected to work independently and efficiently.
Essential Functions
Maintain flower beds, planters, and landscaped areas around the clubhouse and event center
Plant, water, weed, prune, and fertilize flowers, shrubs, and decorative plants
Monitor plant health and identify areas needing attention or improvement
Assist with seasonal planting and landscape transitionsMaintain cleanliness and organization of landscaped areas, including debris removal
Light irrigation monitoring and hand-watering as needed
Support minor beautification projects to enhance curb appeal
Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and presentable for guests
Minimum Qualifications
Prior landscaping or gardening experience preferred but not required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance is a plus
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, attractive spaces
Ability to identify and care for a variety of plants and flowers
Efficient time management for part-time work schedule
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to overall facility appearance
Work Environment
Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather conditions
Physical activity including bending, lifting, kneeling, and walking
Flexible schedule depending on seasonal landscaping needs
